3.3.5.4.1: Undergraduate Programs

3.3.5.4.1.1 Employee

After one year of service, full-time employees who meet admission requirements are eligible for a 100% tuition waiver for up to 24 credit hours per academic year in any of the University’s undergraduate programs.  This waiver applies to tuition only and not to applicable course fees, if any.  The employee’s anniversary date must be achieved prior to the class start date for the benefit to apply.

Employees who are working toward an undergraduate degree are required to submit a FASFA as a condition of this policy.

The amount of the tuition waiver is determined after all other forms of direct financial aid are applied to the employee’s account. The tuition waiver will be the net amount of tuition and course fee costs not covered by other direct aid. The tuition waivers will be applied after drop/add week in sessions 3, 6 and 7.

KEES Exception: The only exception to the above policy will be in the application of KEES Merit Scholarship funds. KEES Merit Scholarship funds may also be applied to book purchases required for classes. Below are several examples with various types of aid.
