3.1.21: Visitors in the Workplace/Security
In order to maintain security, visitors whom an employee invites to the University are such employee’s responsibility. The employee shall greet the visitor and remain with the visitor throughout the visit. Visitors are not permitted to wander through University buildings unescorted. Employees shall not leave purses, wallets or items of value unattended. The University will not be responsible for any lost or missing items. Please immediately report any lost or missing items to campus security. It is the responsibility of all employees to make sure they do not compromise security measures the University has in place (e.g., do not prop open fire doors, etc.).
