2.1.6.1: Employee Volunteering Policy

All University employees are permitted to volunteer 4 hours a month and no more than 1 hour per week at an approved non-profit agency or organization. A list of approved volunteer locations can be obtained in Human Resources. The employee’s supervisor has ultimate discretion as to when the employee may volunteer to insure that it does not interfere with the normal course of employee’s position responsibilities. Volunteer time will be paid as regular hours.
