1.7.0.3.0: General Reserve Policy
In general, faculty or librarians may place photocopies of copyright protected materials on reserve for the convenience of students both in preparing class assignments and in pursuing informal educational activities which higher education requires, such as advanced independent study or research. Materials and length of time must fall within the Fair Use Doctrine. The Library Director will mediate any difference of opinion arising between the faculty and the library reserve room. The Library Director’s judgment will be final.
