1.6.1.4: The Review Panel

1. Purpose: To determine whether an investigation of the complaint is warranted.

2. Members: Three tenured faculty members with professional expertise and experience relevant to the complaint. Members shall not be from any school in which the accused holds appointment or have responsibility for any portion of the activity being questioned.

3. Chair: The panel selects its own chair who is responsible for panel minutes and any reports.

4. Panel Access: The panel has the right to request information of any kind pertinent to the investigation and may seek advice and consultation from recognized authorities.
