The library at Spalding University accepts gifts from the Spalding University and general community according to certain restrictions and reserves the right to refuse any donation.

All gifted materials become the property of the Library at Spalding University. As such, any future use, including the disposal of materials, is at the discretion of the library staff. The library director may make exceptions based upon specific needs and has the final word in any dispute.

Any donation being made for specific curricular purposes should be coordinated with the liaison librarian responsible for that curricular area.

Processing of gifted materials occurs at a priority lower than new acquisitions.
