2.3.3.2: Social Security

The Federal Social Security benefits program covers all employees of the University. Deductions are made on salaries and wages from February 1 of each year, until the employee’s total for the year exceeds the current Social Security base. The University and the employee contribute a percentage of the employee’s salary to Social Security. Employees should contact the Human Resources Office for additional information on social security benefits.
