2.4.1.1: Phish-Resistant Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for Paycom
To protect employees' personal information and reduce the risk of payroll fraud, Spalding University requires phish-resistant multi-factor authentication (MFA) for access to Paycom through the University's single sign-on (SSO) system.
Employees are responsible for completing the required MFA enrollment and maintaining access to their registered authentication method. Employees must not share authentication credentials or approve authentication requests they did not initiate.
Employees who receive an unexpected authentication prompt, suspect unauthorized access to their Paycom account, or believe their authentication method has been compromised must immediately notify Information Technology and Human Resources.
Failure to complete the required MFA enrollment may prevent access to Paycom until enrollment is completed. The University reserves the right to modify authentication methods or implement additional security controls as needed to protect employee accounts and University systems.
